How to Clean Genuine Crocodile Leather

Cleaning crocodile leather is easy.
Genuine crocodile leather is an expensive, elegant material used in the construction of many shoes, handbags and accessories. The crocodile leather, when maintained properly, will hold its attractive appearance for many years without deteriorating in quality. If you use harsh cleaning products, you will discolor and destroy the leather. If you use mild cleaning products, however, you will prolong the life of the leather.

Apply a leather conditioner to restore moisture and shine to the crocodile leather. Use either a spray-on or rub-on conditioner and follow the application instructions on the particular brand you are using. A spray-on comes in a small spray bottle, which you spray directly onto the leather and rub into the surface with a soft cloth. The rub-on conditioner will be poured onto a cloth and rubbed into the leather.
